I think a Bachmann/Coulter ticket would be thoroughly entertaining.

I am old enough to remember BTO. Imagine more than a handful of thread readers will have to go look it up....

their theme song can be "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet"

That would actually be mildly clever for her to use that for rallies. Of course, she'll have to get license permission to do that and that could be a problem.

GOP?

Not going to happen.

Third party ticket all the way.

Actually, this year I fully expect TP-backed candidates to be the only ones with a shot to get the GOP nod. The mainstream guys can take a seat at the back of the room and let everyone else whip the crowd into an anti-Obama hysteria. And then when Obama wins again, they can slide into the driver's seat heading into 2016.

The longer this hesitation for anyone real to enter the race, the more it looks like the GOP is basically taking a pass on '12.

Newt entered it.

That's pretty main stream real.

Newt would also destroy Obama in a debate. And when I say destroy, I mean wipe the floor with.

He'd have to get the nomination, first, and that's going to be a problem with his past indiscretions.

Also, I am not sure I agree that he's mainstream or not just another antagonist. He's a little shrill for what usually goes for a mainstream candidate.
