O&W game and former players

Last year or the year before, some former players played a flag game. Wonder if they will be involved this year in anyway? I would love to see a big turnout and lots of former players show up.

I will be attending my first one this year. My son is a freshman at UT, so it was an easy decision to come and see him and the game over the same weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing some renewed excitement around the footvols.

That's great I did that six years ago, also homecoming was really special when your children are students. Special memories.

I will be attending my first O&W game this year and im super excited!!
Looking forward to seeing new players and all the action at Neyland Stadium!

I think they should have a flag football game with the players made up of former coaches. Fulmer, Kiffin and Dickey on the Orange vs. Majors, Battle and Dooley on the White. Just close your eyes and get a mental image of that.

I'm pretty sure that was 3 years ago. I didn't go last year, the year before it was hella cold, and the year before that was my first o&w game with my (now) wife and I missed the whole flag football game because I was in line for the bathroom. Or maybe that was 4 years ago? It was kiffins lone spring game, I think.

Anybody doing the young alumni thing for the o&w game? I did it a couple years ago, and im gonna do it again this year.. They're really fun.. Got to eat lunch with John Ward last time!

Yeah, year before last the wind was ridiculous!

Was the flag game the year they had part of stadium blocked off for putting the terrace in? I guess it has been that long. Wow.

I'm sure with all Butch has done to involve alumni, and considering how much of the former players didn't even like Dooley, Butch will do something, if not better than the flag football game.

Yeah I remember the big boom lifts being outside gate 21. And we were waiting in line forever to get in and they were charging 10 bucks a ticket. Then some guy came through and said everyone could get in for free.
