I watched some of the garnett n black gamecock game yesterday here in okla. I was at 1st shocked to catch it, but then I remembered the all consuming hate that espn has for Tennessee...which is exactly why they aired it.

A few things...

This may come as a shock to you, but ESPN has NO agenda against Tennessee. Shocked? ESPN's only agenda is to get high ratings. And I don't know if you've noticed, but Spurrier's football usually tends to get good ratings. I have also heard ESPN networks carried other spring games. Mississippi State was one of them, I haven't kept track of what other games may have been broadcast.

Just please stop making yourself believe ESPN has some big conspiracy against the Vols. It smells of Bammer.

sorry milo but if your gonna take the opinion that ESPN is neutral in in its views of Tennesee, Im gonna say we agree to disagree. And Im not only shocked you take such a position as a Vols fan, Im amused youd say it smells of bammer. I watch ESPN broadcasts, and youve every right to your opinions....but if your gonna tell me they have no intrest in dissing the Vols...I gotta say dont piss on my leg and tell me its rainin.

I have heard rumors that ESPN offered to air the spring game last year, and this year as well, but UT declined. I have no idea if there is any truth to this, however.

I don't see much rhyme or reason to which Spring games ESPN is showing. SC I can understand with all the Spurrier hype, but what kind of ratings were they trying to draw with a road trip to Starkville, MS???
