He doesn't mention terrorism by radical Islamists...he still blames the film

Says the future must not belong to people that slander Islam

Says Muslims have suffered the most

Wow just sick!

I swear it sounds like the leader of Iran talking!

How about those who kill in the name of Islam, what future do they have according to you, Mr. Obama?

I was going to give you some text about all the anti-violence, anti-extremism, warnings to Iran, etc., but its easier just to link you to the speech.

You know, the one where starts off talking about the ambassador and how we are going to bring the killers to justice, the need for security in these countries ...

"Today, we must reaffirm that our future will be determined by people like Chris Stevens, and not by his killers. Today, we must declare that this violence and intolerance has no place among our United Nations."

while I think most of what the OP posted is ridiculous, he did continue to use the film as the attackers justification for attacking. Do any reports still link them?

You use the words justification for attacking, but President Obama certainly did not use such words in that context. He did the exact opposite. Have you even read the speech you are lying about?

so now the UN isn't a place to discuss issues facing the world? What's it for again?

There is never a place to discuss the violence done by Muslims in this PC world..they get a pass

The fact that the Pres and MOST Libs wont mention the words Muslims/Islam and violence in the same sentence is proof of this!

Maverick is a welcome addition to the forum, imo. We don't get enough commentary on Muslims 'round here.

Frankly, no cheap shot intended, I think you intended to misrepresent the speech in a bad way for the purpose of falsely demeaning our President. That's not good.

yeah that was my intent :ermm:

do you really think he needs my help? Even mentioning the video in the same speech as the attacks is ridiculous. Can you point me to where anyone agrees they are related?

Yes, he does need your help, but you're not helping. Did you even read the speech before making that negative comment about it? Apparently, you did not. The trashy video is a topic of protest all over the world; our nation is misrepresented by it, people hate us because of it, and you think it's ridiculous for President Obama to include it in his speech at the UN. Duh. How could you think that? Didn't you think that just to reinforce your existing prejudice against the President? What other reason could you have...knee-jerk negativity? Why didn't you compliment the President for his defense of free speech at the UN? Well...? Why didn't you?

This statement could easily be applied to the OP, but not to PJ... :hi:
