BTW, the AP article doesn't mention it, but Obama said in the same rally:

"now's not the time to quit...it took time to free the slaves..."

i think he truly believes that the only reason why people disagree with him is either a) they are racist or b) he just hasn't explained his agenda to them properly. must be nice to live in that sort of delusional bubble where everyone tells you how brilliant you are and how no one could possibly find fault with you.
