Frankly, I think Obama has been rattled by the vehement opposition his healthcare plan has met in the public.

It was amazing that the people protesting were outside of Obama's townhall meeting and not inside! And he wants us to believe that it wasn't setup,PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Is this guy serious? To convince us to let the government run healthcare he points out how another goverment program is crap and 2 private competitors are much better?

One word can describe it: medicare.

Obviously if you have an entitlement program that's going broke, you want to extend that and make more people elgible. That only makes sense.

You're right. The crowd was obviously pre-screened. Anybody who thinks otherwise needs to stop chugging Obama Kool-aid.

No no no...the ones INSIDE were the REAL Americans. The protestors outside were all staged/bused in by Republicans and are all wacko Right Wing/Racist/KKK/Nazi people.

Also....Obama's example is even better; UPS and FedEx are not allowed to compete with the Post Office on the delivery of first class mail. And obviously it's not allowed because it would do a much better job.

So the parallel is even better, as it helps prove more of the criticisms about how the government will end up not allowing private healthcare to compete.

This guy is a genius.

The best thing he could do would be axe the post office and turn it over to UPS and Fedex.

I know that little girl was a complete set up. Obama's set up to tell everyone he won't "kill off their Gammy."

That is not a Town Hall, that is a Town Fraud.

Not only did he compare the USPS to UPS and Fedex(bad enough), but then he pointed out the USPS is constantly having problems. What an idiot.

Silly jokes about teleprompters aside, it should be telling how he answered when he got asked what I consider the most important question of this debate...ie.."how will private companies be able to compete".

What is even more "telling", is what he tells unions and other groups that he knows support him, when he thinks no one is recording. Then and only then does he reveal his true character.
