This reminds me of message board posts by liberals 5 years ago saying that Bush was deliberately killing miners.

Ahhhhhhh, politics.

Thanks for the heads up on that site.

'Newsbusters' is another good site.

I started another thread earlier on this topic, maybe a monitor can merge the two.

This is an important subject that we should all be concerned with imo and something that should be open to national debate.

Where is there a jelly spined republican blowing a police whistle on this additional bit of surrender of national sovereignty to the international community??????

Where is an ACLU spokesman, (protector of our civil liberties), screaming bloody murder????

The way the ACLU stays on top of things, one would think they would already have filed suit in federal court.

Where was this kind of opposition when the Patriot Act was passed? That act alone is a major assault on our rights and freedoms as American citizens. Warrant less wiretaps, domestic spying on US citizens, looking at private health, medical, and financial records without a warrant, American citizens can be jailed without being charged. I guess if a Republican president gave immunity to Interpol in the name of "fighting terror" that would be OK with most of you.

No it wouldn't... the Patriot Act was/is a nasty assault on our liberties and I contacted my representatives (multiple times via email, written letters, and phone calls) in opposition to it, the same as with the bailouts, did you?

I guess that you still believe in the false left/right democrat/republican paradigm? They're all selling us down the river, stop paying attention to the terrorists and start paying attention to the treasonists.

Well Bush did some horrible things too. So pathetic that this is the best response Obama supporters can muster in reaction to horrible decisions.
