Freedom doesn't come cheap neither does protecting human health and the environment. Congress has the power to stop or slow the export of jobs by regulating imports....especially those that are tainted and toxic.

Have you seen video of China, the smog is so thick you can't see the sky. Do you want that over here?

This doesn't conveniently fit his worldview. Good luck getting a response.

I have no problem with having the EPA as an agency but what I do have a problem with is the unchecked power they have. Our police forces just enforce the law, not make them as they go. The EPA has done just that and I think it's completely wrong. No, I do not want to live in China, but for most of the EPA their vision is unrealistically in the opposite direction. They should be there to enforce laws passed by congress, not to go ahead and make up a rule that congress could not pass.

Never understand why Richard "I am not a crook" Nixon proposed the EPA....corporations were doing a great job protecting the environment.

He was a puppet of the Rockefeller family trust.

Comprende ora??

EPA history shows they don't prevent pollution by major corporations but they are hell on wheels against the small guys, particularly land holding farmers.

The political landscape in America over the past several decades can be explained simply through the lens of the Hegelian Dialectic.

Thesis (Liberal Agenda) Anti Thesis (Republican politicians) Synthesis (Liberals along with RINOS pass statist agenda).

This is why the establishment Republicans fight tooth and nail for candidates like Mike Castle, Lisa Murkowski and John McCain; they are the ones who will help deliver the synthesis in the name of compromise which in the end strips us of more and more of our liberties.

The last thing the GOP leadership needs are more Conservatives who will make it much more difficult for them to hide their true intentions, greed, power and ideology. (Attacks on Demint perfect example).

As long as McConnell, Cornyn and Boehner have enough RINOS around they can pose as phony Conservatives while blaming the so called mavericks for voting along liberal lines.( They do this through a RINO voting rotation). Alexander and Corker have certainly served more than their time in the barrel this year, of that there can be no doubt.

Notice that over the years you hear very little of suspended or pulled chairmanships from those who vote in direct opposition to the Constitution, constituents and party leadership on major pieces of legislation.

No, in fact during the primaries, these are the same politicians that the leadership in many cases pour millions of dollars along with other resources to defeat the same type of Conservatives they claim to be.

Here is a good example; Boehner nominated Fred Upton to be chairman of the energy and commerce committee although there were more qualified and senior representatives he could have nominated and when the vote came up it was unanimous, no one voted against him.

Upton was the rep who wrote the bill to ban incondescent light bulbs and now he will have a great deal to say about environmental policy.

It isn't just the EPA but every agency of government is making power grabs under the present administration.

What is the Hegelian Dialectic?

In 1847 the London Communist League (Karl Marx and Frederick Engels) used Hegel's theory of the dialectic to back up their economic theory of communism. Now, in the 21st century, Hegelian-Marxist thinking affects our entire social and political structure.

The Hegelian dialectic is the framework for guiding our thoughts and actions into conflicts that lead us to a predetermined solution. If we do not understand how the Hegelian dialectic shapes our perceptions of the world, then we do not know how we are helping to implement the vision. When we remain locked into dialectical thinking, we cannot see out of the box.

Hegel's dialectic is the tool which manipulates us into a frenzied circular pattern of thought and action. Every time we fight for or defend against an ideology we are playing a necessary role in Marx and Engels' grand design to advance humanity into a dictatorship of the proletariat. The synthetic Hegelian solution to all these conflicts can't be introduced unless we all take a side that will advance the agenda. The Marxist's global agenda is moving along at breakneck speed. The only way to completely stop the privacy invasions, expanding domestic police powers, land grabs, insane wars against inanimate objects (and transient verbs), covert actions, and outright assaults on individual liberty, is to step outside the dialectic. This releases us from the limitations of controlled and guided thought.

The big lie here is that this is indeed for the proletariot and this has been the truth from the beginning.

As sated by Quigley, this world order is meant to be administered in a feudalistc manner and that is why the need to eliminate the hated bourgeoisie so that there are only two classes, and the proletariat are deceived into thinking that they are the ruler when they are not at all the rulers but are merely serfs. (or smerfs if you prefer Pilsboro dough boys.)

ScottFactor.com Conservative Blog

Lately, it’s like living in some kind of nutty nightmare with all these government agencies, the media, academia, Hollywood, and many others squarely on board with the global warming scam, as if they honestly believe it’s true. Oh, they had to change the name of “global warming,” since it became painfully apparent that there was no such “crisis” outside of the global warming that occurs when summer hits your hemisphere.

No, the communist enviro-fascists could not hold up the ruse by using the term “global warming,” so they went down to their imaging department in the depths of propaganda hell and returned with a sure-fire term that would weather all seasons: climate change!

Climate change is guaranteed to occur approximately four times a year, so how could they lose with that one? Now, no matter what kind of weather happens, these geniuses blindly proclaim, “It’s climate change!” Do they see the irony? Maybe they do, but I don’t think it really matters to them how foolish they look. Their goal for massive, global wealth redistribution is what counts, and this bogus earth-worship campaign is the best idea they could muster to make it happen. It’s their story, and they’re sticking to it, come hell or high water (either of which would, of course, be due to climate change).

The evil, wealth-robbing scheme of “cap and trade” was quickly rejected by all thinking Americans, which made it difficult, if not impossible, to ram it through Congress, so the communists of the Obama administration decided to use the EPA to accomplish the same result. Thus, a year ago we saw the EPA declare carbon dioxide (CO2) and five other so-called “greenhouse gases” to be a terrible menace to the ever-worshipped environment and to public health and unilaterally gave themselves the power to “regulate” CO2 emissions.

This is preposterous, and the pushers of this lie of global warming have to know it. Not to regress to 6th grade science here, but need I remind global warming kool-aid drinkers that carbon dioxide is a vital part of our air? CO2 is food for plants. A by-product of plant consumption of CO2 is oxygen! The hoax of anthropogenic global warming is not even a clever one! Do you know what the most prevalent greenhouse gas in our atmosphere is? Water vapor--that oh-so-dangerous greenhouse gas of which clouds are formed!

The good news in all this EPA bunk is that Republicans may not stand down and simply allow an unelected agency, which is not accountable to the people, to dictate environmental policy without the approval of Congress. Michigan Congressman Fred Upton, a Republican, who will head the House Energy and Commerce Committee in the 112th Congress, has said he will work to stop the EPA from making this massive power grab. Rep. Upton has apparently had a major change of heart. You may recall that he was the guy who authored the ridiculous and despotic ban on incandescent light bulbs a few years back. Well, now he says that was a bad idea, and he’s going to work to undo the legislation. Is this a zebra that is changing its stripes?

Best description of the plan being implemented that you will find anywhere: (Footnoted.)

Sustainable Development: Transforming America

Sustainable communities of the future will bear little resemblance to the towns and cities of the 20th century. Single-family homes will be rare. Housing will be provided by public/private partnerships, funded by government, and managed by non-government "Home Owners Associations." Housing units will be designed to provide most of the infrastructure and amenities required by the residents. Shops and office space will be an integral part of each unit, and housing will be allocated on a priority basis to people who work in the unit - with quotas to achieve ethnic and economic balance. Schools, daycare, and recreation facilities will be provided. Each unit will be designed for bicycle and foot traffic, to reduce, if not eliminate, the need for people to use automobiles.

Transportation between sustainable communities, for people and for commodities, will be primarily by light rail systems, designed to bridge wilderness corridors where necessary. The highways that remain will be super transport corridors, such as the "Trans-Texas Corridor" now being designed, which will eventually reach from Mexico to Canada. These transport corridors will also be designed to bridge wilderness corridors, and to minimize the impact on the environment.

Government, too, will be different in a sustainable America. Human activity is being reorganized around ecoregions, which do not respect county or state boundaries. Therefore, the governing apparatus will be designed to regulate the activities within the entire region, rather than having multiple governing jurisdictions with services duplicated in each political subdivision. It is far more efficient to have regional governing authorities with centrally administered services.

About the post above:

“This vision is quite attractive to many Americans, especially those born since 1970, who have been educated in the public school system. To these people, nothing is more important than saving the planet from the certain catastrophe that lies ahead, if people are allowed to continue their greedy abuse of natural resources. The public school system, and the media, have been quite successful in shaping new attitudes and values to support this vision of how the world should be.”

As usual, the leftists have targeted the kids as they look forward to imposing on America their evil utopian vision for the world. It will be an extremely difficult battle to undo the brainwashing of the young people who have been fed a steady diet of lies that will ultimately lead to their enslavement under their “green” masters.

Henry Lamb’s website, sovereignty.net, is full of valuable information exposing the globalist agenda, and his sustainable development piece (linked above) is a must-read for anyone who values freedom and is not aware of the sinister agenda of the sustainable development movement, which has been helped along the way by the EPA.

The EPA must be stopped. The Republican Congress must take swift action to cut the legs off of the EPA and reverse this maniacal power grab.

You can have appropriate legislation without overstepping executive authority or worse allowing a Federal Agency to make its own laws without legislative authority.
