Obama has a "Brownie" moment.

sadly stewart is of the opinion that obama didn't do enough which is a common refrain from the ultra left. shows how ridiculously biased he is.

Obama is such a defensive little nancy boy. He is so thin skinned it isn't even funny.

Yeah, Stewart was hoping that in a span of two years, Obama would have placed the telescreens in everybody's house and would have everybody drinking their victory gin.

Maybe he's calling him out for not sticking by his campaign promises which would be inline with the rest of his show.

and you think he'd be upset about obama not sticking to his campaign promises if he wasn't a flaming liberal?

I loved Obama's comment that he's done things that people even don't know about and Stewart's reply about a surprise party coming up soon.

Do you see MSNBC blasting Obama for it?

When I think about biased news sources, I think about MSNBC and Fox which pander to their audiences.

The purpose of the Daily Show is comedy, more importantly pointing out the hypocrisy and stupidity of politicians. Right now, as far as Obama, he is failing in doing what he promised during campaigns. He's not going to call him out on why universal healthcare or pulling out of Iraq/Afghanistan is stupid but because that was one of his campaign promises that he hasn't followed through with.

Yes Stewart is liberal. I think it's nearly impossible to not let that show through. But I wouldn't go so far as to call him bias, at least not in comparison to the mass media. His political stance doesn't stop him from asking harder hitting questions than anybody else in the media. And that's more of an insult to the rest of the media than a compliment to Stewart.

I like Stewart. He holds a pretty good interview for a man trying to balance comedy and information in a short time frame. He asks good questions but never gets in a shouting match. You could say he somewhat pandered to Obama, but he's done that for every high ranking individual he's had on his show (conservative included, the one with Condoleezza specifically sticks out to me).

People question if it is proper that Stewart called him "dude". If the President acted in a way that was becoming of his position, I might agree. But the "dude" is an embarrassment, so I'd say it's fitting.

I think most of us younger than 30ish do not see calling anyone "dude" to be disrespectful. It's no different than previous eras' "my good man" and such.

Throughout my life, people have pushed me away from calling them sir, mr, or mrs., etc.. It's now practically a sign of friendship to be informal that is preferred over respect.

all i know is he's having a rally intended to be the anti beck rally 3 days before the election. he needs to give up this "i'm just a comedian" garbage and fully admit he has a bias. it's insulting.

With me (on both sides) it depends on who the person is, their rank, and our relationship.

That said Little-Me will call everyone sir or m'amm. :)

I think him calling the president 'dude' just indicates how bad in shape we as a country are. or just how bad liberals are for America.

He's on a cable network's comedy show. He clearly doesn't take himself or the office seriously. 'Dude' fits in right nicely with the whole set-up.

Biased would not be calling him out for it.

I would rather Stewart ask him the hard questions of why his policies and promises during his term have blowed up. What he said he was gonna do to get elected means little at this point, no different than any other politician.

Ironic considering you continually refer to the President of the USA as "Hussein" or "The Muslim" and not by common name.

Hypocrite much?

Of course the disrespect thing doesn't apply when it fits one's agenda. Partisan politics 101.....
