"some people want me to bypass Congress and change the laws on my own" -- a prospect Obama said he found "very tempting." But the president quickly added, "that's not how our system works."

Not as scary as the headline and 90% of the article would lead you to believe, but at the same time FDR (his hero) was notorious for testing the waters with statements like that to see how America would react. If America freaked out, he'd back off. If not, he'd follow through.

Probably would like to do away with Congress altogether. It's getting in the way of his class warfare.
