Obama lost his old seat

Yes it is. His 2% or so victory means he probably won by closer to 7% in legit votes. The Chicago Machine isn't new at stealing elections.

Not to mention they couldve voted on this seat months ago, when he his approval was *higher. Let one slip there.

was Obama a Senator long enough for that to be considered "his seat"?

yeah, I think Ryan was the incumbent when the sordid details of his marriage to Jeri Ryan (yum) came to light. He dropped out and I think the race that year was between Alan Keyes and Obama.

No, Pete Fitzgerald was.

He retired and Ryan entered the race.

Keyes had absolutely no business in the race.

wasn't it R before Obama took it (when Ryan melted down and dropped out)

Yes. I don't see how it was "Obama's seat." It's the seat he occupied previous to becoming POTUS. It was R before Obama.

Just reaching for another bash on Obama.

I agree, he didn't sit there long enough to claim it.

As far as "reaching to bash", you don't have to reach that far back.
