State Department in Talks to Transfer Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman to Egypt, Source Says

The U.S. State Department is currently in negotiations with the Egyptian government for the transfer of custody of Omar Abdel-Rahman, also known as “the Blind Sheikh,” for humanitarian and health reasons, a source close to the the Obama administration told TheBlaze.

The Blind Sheikh is serving a life sentence in American prison for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. His release has been called one of the top priorities of the new Islamist administration in Egypt. Many have pinpointed the cause of last week‘s unrest in Egypt to be protests over the Blind Sheikh’s release– not an anti-Islam YouTube video.

BTW, the youtube film was made in America by an Egyptian, anyone else smell something rotten in Denmark?

Egypt’s President-elect Mohammed Morsi made a nod to his base in a speech on Friday when he pledged to seek the release of Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman from U.S. custody.

Sheik Abdel-Rahman, who is better known as the “blind sheik” is serving a life sentence at a federal penitentiary in North Carolina for his role in planning the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center in New York City.

Article III, Section 3, Paragraph 1, of the Constitution of the United States:

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or, in adhering to their Enemies, giving them aid and comfort."

Obama saw fit to give one of the blind sheik's top followers a visa to visit the US even though he was high on the list of prominent international terrorists, invited him to the white house and held private meetings with him.

When W invaded Afghanistan he called the operation "Infinite Justice", the moslems told him that is not possible, Allah is the author of all justice. So Wimp II called the operation "Induring Freedom."
