I watched his Chamber of Commerce speech. It was bizzarro world. He talked at length about the "investment in education, technology, etc." then said he was freezing discretionary spending. Apparently this investment will be off the books or non-discretionary?

his message last week that "corporate profits need to be spread around" was the most ridiculous message I've ever heard from a guy pretending to want to boost private sector hiring.

His ideological bent should limit him, but too many dynamics and too much to happen between now and election to make any calls. The list of opponents is frighteningly poor. Would love to see a limited government independent, fiscally conservative and hawkish walk to the plate. Would make for interesting referendum on the sorriness of the two party system.
