What does the triumvirate of Obama-Pelosi-Reid offer?

Rep. Barney Frank is calling for new tax hikes on the most successful and a 25 percent across-the-board slash in national defense. Sen. John Kerry is talking up new and massive federal spending, a la FDR's New Deal. Specifically, we can almost surely expect:

-- Swift amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens and a drive to make them citizens and register them, as in the Bill Clinton years. This will mean that Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona will soon move out of reach for GOP presidential candidates, as has California.

-- Border security will go on the backburner, and America will have a virtual open border with a Mexico of 110 million.

-- Taxes will be raised on the top 5 percent of wage-earners, who now carry 60 percent of the U.S. income tax burden, and tens of millions of checks will be sent out to the 40 percent of wage-earners who pay no federal income tax. Like the man said, redistribute the wealth, spread it around.

-- Social Security taxes will be raised on the most successful among us, and capital gains taxes will be raised from 15 percent to 20 percent. The Bush tax cuts will be repealed, and death taxes reimposed.

-- Two or three more liberal activists of the Ruth Bader Ginsberg-John Paul Stevens stripe will be named to the Supreme Court. U.S. district and appellate courts will be stacked with "progressives."

-- Special protections for homosexuals will be written into all civil rights laws, and gays and lesbians in the military will be invited to come out of the closet. "Don't ask, don't tell" will be dead.

-- The homosexual marriages that state judges have forced California, Massachusetts and Connecticut to recognize, an Obama Congress or Obama court will require all 50 states to recognize.

-- A "Freedom of Choice Act" nullifying all state restrictions on abortions will be enacted. America will become the most pro-abortion nation on earth.

-- Affirmative action -- hiring and promotions based on race, sex and sexual orientation until specified quotas are reached -- will be rigorously enforced throughout the U.S. government and private sector.

-- Universal health insurance will be enacted, covering legal and illegal immigrants, providing another powerful magnet for the world to come to America, if necessary by breaching her borders.

-- A federal bailout of states and municipalities to keep state and local governments spending up could come in December or early next year.

-- The first trillion-dollar deficit will be run in the first year of an Obama presidency. It will be the first of many.

Pat, as good as he is, left out a couple:

Card check, the pay back to the unions will sail through... with the unionization of Wal-Mart and most everywhere else coming soon.

The CIA, NSA, and the rest will be rolled back and de-funded (see Barney Frank, top of the list) The PA will be 'gutted' or just ignored...

Leading to the next attack on the US homeland, something that even Joe Biden knows is coming.

A total reputation of the Obama 'foreign policy' he'll talk to 'everyone' then they will go off and do what they wanted anyway. Russia will rebuild it's empire, use Europe's NG supply to take what they couldn't win in 50 years of cold war, China will take Taiwan, Iran will attack Israel, etc, etc.

As Pat said: Welcome to Obamaland!

WASH—Oct 14—DJNS-- The White House and the Democratic controlled Congress have embarked upon nationalizing America’s home mortgage and financial system—the earnest beginning of the end to capitalism. The Democratic-led Congress is considering a lame duck session after the election to expand social programs to provide the American people the same kind of “relief” as was provided by the $700 billion takeover of American banks, making them legal agents of the Federal government. The Democratic candidate for President, B. Hussein Obama, has announced that he wants to redistribute the wealth of American citizens. All these actions in just the past 24 hours signal that the nation is undergoing a socialist revolution.



The socialist juggernaut sweeping across the nation is steeped in fear, crisis, corruption and deceit. Obama gave Americans an honest assessment of the future when he told an Ohio resident, “It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too…I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." Spreading the wealth around means taking what is yours and giving it to someone undeserving—the very reason the Founding Fathers rebelled against England and formed this nation.



In 1962, it was reported that Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev said, “We can’t expect the American people to jump from Capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving them small does of Socialism, until they awaken one day to find that they have Communism.” He also said that Communists will take America “without firing a shot.” A trademark of Communism is fixed elections, and Americans are about to experience it. Trained and funded at the hands of Obama, the socialist group ACORN has been active in subversive voter registration fraud across America. In Ohio, for example, authorities caught a man voting with a bogus address, one of 4,000 ACORN registrations called into question.



These revolutionaries are using fear tactics surrounding their self-inflicted financial crisis to take over America. It is happening before your very eyes. Your freedoms--your religious freedom; your right to free speech; your right to property ownership--are all being diminished with each passing minute. We often quote an exhortation of the Lord in Ezekiel 22:30, saying nobly, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it.” But we also often leave off the end of the verse which says, “But I found none.” Our way of life in America is being destroyed without firing a shot. Who will stand in the gap? It will take prayer and action.

So it begins.

If I was a betting man...wait, I am. If Vegas actually put out an over-under on the actual days in which BHO would remain alive in office, if elected, I would take the under if they set it at 90 (heck, I would probably be tempted to take the under if set at 60).

BHO has already dodged more than a handful of attempts on his life. However, looking at the situation realistically, there are a lot of die-hards who would love nothing more than to martyr themselves in order to off BHO.
