Anybody watching? Someone had an outburst after his very minimal comments on Rush.

Did anybody catch what he said?

Asked the questions(paraphrasing): What do you think about sponsors leaving his show? Do you think his apology was sincere? Why did you call Sandra Fluke?

Only commented on the last one. He didn't even says homeboy's name. Basically just explained why he called the slut.

Recap. Everything he's done is unprecedented. Any criticism of his policies is someone playing politics. People who think we should be more aggressive with Iran and/or Syria are being too "casual" and not thinking through the costs; and playing politics. Only he has considered the costs of military action (I'm sure that's news to McCain).

It is pretty much all about politics, both right and left. We shouldn't be more agressive with either Syria or Iran. Israel is important (mostly to religious people) but I am pretty sure they are capable of taking care of themselves. Unless Russia and China join in, then we'll need to step in.

So he defended his policies and criticized his detractors. Unheard of for a politician to do that.

Who is the donor?

And does he have a daily radio show carried on publicly owned airwaves listened to by millions?

his donor is bill maher adn last I checked, the petition to fire limbaugh made no mention of the fact that he's in the radio and it appears that your hero didn't make that distinction either.

why would the president ever care about what limbaugh says?

Doubt he actually cares, but commenting and calling the girl undoubtedly helped gain some female votes.

Wasn't it Bill Maher?

Palin is a public figure, not a college student. Slight difference, but still wasn't okay for her to be called the names.

I kinda buy the distinction and kinda don't. If she just stood up at a townhall and made the comments I say she's just a private citizen. She though was a long time activist for the cause and took on Georgetown to prove a point. Still not a VP candidate but she injected herself into the issue over many years thus becoming a pseudo-public figure on the issue.

Maher donated $1 million to Obama?

I read he donated $1 million to a Super Pac.

But, remember, according to Romney and the GOP, that is not the same thing as donating to Obama.

Ms. Fluke has made herself a public figure. She decided to go on The View and to go before Congress. She is a political hack.

And according to Barry, he wasn't going to take any Super Pac money.

So then you're saying that she is no different than Palin? Both are political hacks that are just trying to make names for themselves.

FWIW, I've never stated Rush should apologize. It's well within in his rights to say what he wants. Also well within the rights of customers to demand that businesses pull advertising.

I'll concede that Fluke is now a public figure after going on The View, didn't know that piece of information.

She is an activist so no she is not any different.

We agree he should not have apologized, but he is forced to because he is a conservative. The left can say whatever they want and it's fine.

That's not even the slightest bit true.
