Read one poster on here talking about how we werent even interested in Golden Tate and neither were very many other schools. He said he was not highly regarded. Well, dont think ESPN shares your opinion. They have Golden Tate listed as the 16th best player in the country! And, another name to mention would be Todd Campbell. They have listed as the 88th best player in the country. Chris Donald 96th??? Roderick Davis 85th??? Daris not even listed???

Whoever did this list is smoking some high quality stuff. Thats ridiculous.

As a biased, long-time Williamson Countian I can unequivically say that Todd Campbell deserves to be considered that high. If UT can get someone to put the ball in his hands he will be magical 2-3 years from now.

That list is junk. Tate being ranked that high on that board means nothing. That list doesn't even have Everson Griffen in the top 100 nor Joseph Barksdale in the top 150. We aren't that high on Tate believe it or not. None of the Fl schools nor ND have offered at this point and the only one that seems interested in offering is ND.

ND is supposed to be evaluating his current transcript before they offer, of course they've been doing that for a couple months now.

Tom Lemming

actually ESPN fired that idiot after Lorenzo Booker (FSU RB) outed him about how he tried to push him to go to ND.. ESPN has another Tom L- Tom Luginbili or something like that doing it now. He is actually a LOT worse at it than Lemming is and that should tell you something. The problem w/ the ESPN guy is he doesn't actually go to see any of these players like scout and rivals does he just watches film and gives them a grade.

Yeah, Tom Lemming is a royal douche bag. I couldn't remember who the player was that ratted him out. Thanks.

That new Franklin HS is looking sweet. I just wish they'd put a back entrance somewhere off Mack Hatcher. It can be a real pain trying to get down Hillsboro Rd on gamenight. I really don't know that much about Campbell. I just like talking him up since I live in the area. I went to BA back in the stone ages and I've pretty much been down on HS fb since the big lawsuit started with TSSAA. Maybe I'll go to a game this year though.

HBilly, what years did you go to BA? Did you go before the Al Allen and Jason Cook days?

I was partying at the Legend's Club last weekend for a friend's wedding.

I knew Jason Cook, but not very well. I was in the honors program over there. Cook may have been in my classes, I just can't remember. I do remember that even though he was pretty tough even in 7th grade he was a real nice guy. Jeff Brothers was in my classes. I have not kept up with the school much (actually switched to BHS before I graduated, but not for any disciplinary/academic reason) although my current and long-time girlfriend did graduate from BA around '88 so I kind of maintain a vacarious alumni status through her.
