Holly Rowe has to be the most annoying person in college football broadcasting. Am I the only one who feels this way? She COMPLETELY botched her post game interview with Les Miles at the end of the Auburn-LSU game. I did, however, find it extremely entertaining to see Les Miles try to figure out what the heck she was talking about. Im good with most of the female sideline reporters because they have the look and seem to have some knowledge to go with it. Ole Holly doesn't have either......

He didn't know what she was talking about because he didn't even know what was going on in the last seconds of the game! Did you not hear him say something like, "Oh we had plenty of time, no problem, 17-18 seconds left"?

Uh, coach, I think you added about 10 sec. there. He acted like that's what anyone would have done in that situation.

I truly believe he is one of the worst coaches I have seen in a while. When he loses his unbelievable talent, those goof ball calls that he is becoming known for will begin to blow up in his face. I will never forget during his first year at LSU (I cant remember who they were playing) it was late in the game and I believe they were tied. LSU made an interception and he goes running out onto the field signalling for a timeout to stop the clock. I guess the da forgot that the clock stops on a change of possession:ermm: To see his assistant coach run after him to try to stop him was the funniest thing I have ever seen. :lolabove:

I don't think you can blame Holly Rowe for that. She asked the obvious fluff question about what had just happened and Les went space cadet.

By any chance did you all see Mike Patrick bring up Brittney Spears a couple weeks back right in the middle of a heated overtime matchup between Bama and Georgia. I can't remember who the other announcer was but he was like WHAT

I've seen people killing him for that and trust me anything that involves talking down about Mike Patrick I'm in for but I think I understood his humor.

The game was, like most ESPN SEC Night games, very exciting. It was the biggest spot of the game and he said it (I think) because of how big it was. Kind of like when a situation gets akward you say, "Damn, How bout em Vols?". Totally off topic, no need for it but some find humor in it.

It was a failed attempt at humor. I don't think he brought her up to seriously talk about her.

You think he had unbelievable talent when he beat Oklahoma two out of four years while he was HC at Oklahoma State? Ease off the man. We have enough problems with coaching to worry about.

yah holly rowe is an idiot,i believe last years miami florida state game (thug bowl 06) she showed up and looked like she was goin to the club or she belonged in a missy elliot video or something, then she changed like right after the first interview, so from there on out we gave her the name holly hoe

Have you noticed how rough she begins to look after the beginning of the game. By the end her hair is all matted down, mascara running and sweat beads pouring even in cold weather. Not a pretty site. Bring on Erin.

I thought that was Suzy Kolber.
I'm pretty sure he meant that he would hit on Holly as well.

But back to the Les comment about time left. He still had time to run that play, the clock operator failed to stop the clock. It should have been blown dead at about the :03-:04 mark, not with just one second left. The announcers overdramatized that quite a bit.

The problem with Holly's question was she asked Miles what his thinking was coming out of the timeout. They hadn't taken a timeout, he was saving it incase the clock would have still been running after the play. When he called the play, there was about 18 seconds left. He probably wanted Flynn to snap the ball a little sooner, but like said above there would have been three to four seconds left if they needed it.
