There is a topic on here about football tix and one of the posts mentioned that UT tix are sometimes bought and sold on Ebay. So I took a look-see.

By my count, of the 21 ticket offerings on Ebay right now for tickets to the UT-Florida game, 15 of them are for tickets in the UT section!!! One would have thought that those who already had those tickets either would go or would sell or give to close friends up there who want to go to the game.

Two thoughts. First, if Florida fans buy up those tickets, isn't that going to make for a rather thin UT crowd at the Florida game? Second, are UT fans selling off their right to go to that game because they know it is going to be a VERY long drive home after a disappointing evening?

It's because UT is the away team, and there will be more UT folks looking to get tickets before they travel that far than UF fans. At least that is what the ticket brokers bank on. 99% of those tickets on EBAY are being sold through brokers.

Actually, the UT fans just don't want all of that orange and blue on us after the major melt-down ya'll have when we brutalize you.

The swamp will be a messy place.

Probably because some people don't want to drive 449.9 miles just to see Tennessee wup UF again. If you are trying to worry us, maybe a few stats, a story about practice, maybe Meyer did something other than point and stare today... Things of that magnitude

i'm confused a little here, your name is BayouVol yet you say you bleed purple and gold, so are you a vol fan and an lsu fan or what?

Maybe both :dunno:

About the only relevant thing I can think of is folks on here that root for Tennessee football and LSU baseball... I think there are a few.

I think that Bayou is Vols fan because of coach Delmonico.

NOPE! not me! That would be LIO. I'm a VOLS fan because of the baseball team and TN friends who are big baseball fans like me.

And yes, LawGator & IBleedOrange, I live in LA and pull for both teams! This year I intend to follow Gator Baseball as my new SEC East Team to get to know. Last year it was the VOLS. I actually went to Durham to see the USA Baseball team play Italy. Gators had a few players on this year's team. GREAT kids!

Do you follow baseball?

CC, it's a mean combination of sun, humidity, and transplanted Northerners that makes them all crazy and ign'ant.

If UT wins the game, I promise that you will see me on here the following Monday congratulating your team (mostly because my computer at home does not have the link on it). If UF wins, I'll either drive in to work that night or FIND the link myself and you will never, ever, hear the end of it. LOL.

Thanks to those who take my comment in the spirit in which it was intended. And BTW, I do post stats and articles of note (both pro and con as to the Gators). So to those who can't take some good-natured teasing about your team, kiss my grits.

"Grits"

Florida is Michigan South. You either don't eat grits, or do something stupid like putting sugar on them.
