Many have belittled John Chavis for his inability to recruit DT's. My advice for you guys is not to freak out. I think Chavis will be able to close the deal when the time comes. Chavis received the bulk of his criticism when he was unable to land Jomarcus Savage last year close to signing day, despite Chavis' strong ties to Savage's father. I know for a fact that Savage was in the bag for UT prior to the slew of off field issues. Savage said that it was too much to overcome, so he committed to Auburn.
