Tennessee seems to be running a very limited version of its offense this year compared to last two. In the first two games there was talk of keeping it vanilla etc but even yesterday they seemed to have 6-7 plays at the most.

Is it Milton who is limited in what he can run ? The new OL ? Or is it the new OC who is calling these (admittedly Huepel approves these but play calling was much better with Golesh-Hooker combo)

We’re limited by pass protection, the QBs ability to see things downfield and be accurate and Milton not being quite as dynamic with his feet.

The o-line problem is glaring without Mays in there. Center was a struggle all night.

QB does not have the IQ. Simple as that.

After watching last night I would have to say that we are limited by the O-Line.

Milton had some GREAT throws and a couple good runs (3rd QTR especislly).

Unfortunately, he had as many bad throws. He also seems to not be good at decision making at game speed.

I respect Joe. However, he's just not an SEC caliber QB.

Nope. I don’t believe that. The oline is not good. But 3 down and 8+ and a draw called by the coordinator isn’t a bad line. It’s no faith in the qb to complete a pass.

B.I.N.G.O

Milton is one of if the the worst qbs at buying time and throwing on the move or after being moved in the country. (No hyperbole-the stats support this). Since we have a bad o line and our qb can’t move, we are hamstrung. When Milton has time he is okay.

It’s all related. A draw on 3rd and 8 means you don’t trust anybody.

They certainly didn’t on the 2-point play, and their effort on that play was non existent too
Go back and look at the play. I really think it was a shovel pass that Milton decided to hold onto and run for the pylon.

They WILL fix this!
Hearing they are coming out early and work on the screen pass or flair outs behind the line and run draws up the middle in key conversions of 8 yards or more on 3rd downs.

They can't get Mays back soon enough.

Milton needs to take what's in front of him more in the running game.

Wide receivers need to stop dropping passes.

I'd say the RBs and TEs are the only two offensive groups that are playing up to par right now.

It reminded me a lit of the ga game last year when we had about 27 false starts for the game. Crowd noise shouldn’t be that much of a factor twice.
