1. About 15 or so years ago, I heard of a situation at work where a guy had blind copied /BCC his supervisor on an email that he was sending out to a group of people. Long story short, the supervisor that was BCC ended up replying to someone in the email string that had apparently made some smart comments about another person. Of course, no one else knew the supervisor was in on the email string and the supervisor didn't realize that he had been BCC, he never looked at the address box I suppose and had no reason to think that he was being blind copied.

2. Maybe and year and a half or 2 years ago (before the COVIDs) I heard about a guy that was doing a Zoom or some sort of remote power point presentation and forgot to turn off his screen at the end of the presentation. The group meeting at the office went ahead and carried on until a few people looked up at the monitor in the meeting room and noticed that the remote guy was typing up an email and basically ripping some of the office meeting attendees a new one in an email he was sending to his supervisor, and from what I understand lied about a few details that went on in the meeting. The group in the office waited until the guy hit send before one of them popped up told the remote guy to turn of his screen because everyone in the meeting room could see it.

3. Something I actually saw myself because I was included in the email string, but this email string started off with about 2-3 people originally and somebody in the email string had said something about another co-worker and his performance. Somehow, someone else got included/copied on to the string and it morphed into something else relating to a project or some other matter. Pretty soon, the emails went back and forth and seems like more people, including myself and the person that was being talked about earlier, got included in the email string. This must have went on for about 2-3 weeks maybe. It seems that after a while, someone went back in time to see how all of these emails that are flying back and forth had gotten started... and then they found the comments made about that certain person and showed the comments to them.

Was changing out a little old lady's computer years ago and was going to copy her files over. Noticed one of the folders on her desktop named "xxx" and said are you sure you want me to copy these over? She was very embarrassed that she named the folder that but it was just a folder she would drop whatever old pics that she was going to delete in there and hurriedly opened and showed me that there wasn't porn (she was a communications publicist so it was just shutter stock type pics).

Still one of the best ones.

Had a boss several years ago that was past retirement age and not the most technically astute. One of our products used a web browser to monitor and configure. During factory training he was having difficulty connecting and ask for my help. In attempting to log in to the product, his browsing history was displayed and we can just say he was very proficient finding certain types of web sites.....on his company computer.....I never said anything.....he set my goals and submitted for my raises.

In a similar situation, I was interning in the summer after high school at a design firm, basically splitting my time between drafting and helping with the office's website and general tech support. On occasion, some of the more "senior" folk would bring their personal computers in if they were having issues, and it usually fell to me to troubleshoot the issues while the actual network admin did network admin things. There was one fellow in particular who had a predilection for some rather graphic and, well, 'creative' content...being the newbie, I asked the admin about it and he basically said, "Yeah, I should've warned you ahead of time...that guy brings in his tower every 3 or 4 months for a virus scan and deep cleaning when it starts running slow."
