Well, it's good to see that Portland and the Celtics decided to start things off by consumating a trade that really does nothing for either team.

I think it did. The Blazers can still get two good players early if they don't get Morrison, and the Celtics get a somewhat promsing young guard and Raef Lafrentz off their back.

Safe pick. They hired the GM from Benetton Treviso last week. They should know his game.

I don't think he falls past Utah. Somewhere 12-17.

This will be the pick that sets the draft in motion. The Bulls hold the key.

Gee, I wonder where all the people who were trying to tell me Aldridge wasn't any better than Randolph Morris are tonight?

But Aldridge going to Portland.
Another good move by John Paxson. He moves down and is still going to get the guy he wants.

We'll see. I get the feeling they're going to be very active this summer.

I'm shocked. It really surprises me that MJ would draft a guy who can't guard the area under his feet.

It's going to take that and making some great decisions to simply put people in the seats and get out of the NBA cellar. I am really dissappointed we didn't get Adam Morrison. He could have been great for the franchise if the rest of the front office gets changed/picks things up.

I've said it since I saw him in Las Vegas around Christmas, Tyrus Thomas is a big time athlete. If he develops any offense at all, he'll be a big time producer for a long time.

The Hawks should just pass when their turn comes up in the draft. Shelden Williams is about the 30th best player in this draft.
