I bet there was a vote, got backlash, and now are backpedaling. No conference wants to be the first to cancel, and I'm starting to suspect that some conferences (Big Ten, Pac-12) prefer a cancellation and others (Big 12, SEC, ACC) either don't or are waiting and seeing.

So conflicting reports, I guess. Unless Dan Patrick is walking back his info. Seems like the Big 10 may have a snitch, lol.

From what radio is saying , the “votes” were the states saying if they should play or not, not the schools

I don't think they wanted the Detroit to break the story first. Just my guess. Although now it looks like Harbaugh might be Harbaugh-ing and that could be a thing.

Well, we know now that this tweet was BS. Not blaming this Pete Thamel guy, but more so the alleged inside source from the Big Ten. If I were a journalist, I would delete him from my Rolodex after making me look bad.

Go ahead and blast Pete Thamel all you want. He never holds back on taking gratuitous shots at Tennessee. He’s on my list along with Dan Wolken, Christine Brennan, Nancy Armour and Dennis Dodd.
