Alright let’s do this thing . Albeit, an abbreviated opening post. I’ve seen Duke play twice, my conclusion… Duke is very good. This is a Final 4 team. Flagg is gonna get all the big notoriety and he might not even lead the team is scoring . I’ve seen him play 2 games and yeah he’s really gifted for a 6’9” guy, but he seems to have a good knack for finding the open, right guy. That’s been missing . So has hustle and the willingness to play hard for their teammates. Luckily, w/ a big part of that reason has moved to Salt Lake. I’d say that there is a lot of addition by subtraction and then adding again .

Duke has veteran guards w/ Proctor and Foster returning and the addition of possibly the best scoring guy on the team Kon Kneuple. The guy is legit offensive machine, not overly athletic, but a very good basketball player. He could very well be an All-ACC player along w/ Flagg.

UNC is top 10, they played flat against lowly Elon. They always do this and then they get going . We’ll find out tonight as they travel to Phogg at 7pm

I’m very excited to see what Kneuple can do with his style of play. I think Flagg is just getting started. And I expect big things out of Proctor.

And you got the like for the not so subtle addition by subtraction comment along with FINALLY getting this thread started the right way

Carolina did pull a Carolina with Elon with "playing with their food" in game 1. The zone Elon played for most of the second half didn't hurt. Playing Kansas on the road so far hasn't looked in their favor.

If you told me that RJ Davis went 3-15 shooting, I’d assume yall would get blown out by anybody. Never dream they’d scare Kansas in Lawrence with that stat

Looks like they found a way to get to the line a lot . Good comeback by the Heels. We’ll see how Duke plays against them in a few weeks. Duke also gets Kentucky Tuesday night . Always fun to beat UK

The lack of a serious inside presence is going to cost Carolina a lot of games this year. I think this is going to be an up-and-down season for them. After watching the Elon game, I had predicted a loss at Kansas today. I'm actually surprised they kept the game close.

Carolina will go as far as they can shoot the three with consistency. They have some bodies to put in the paint, but no consistent scoring options. Shoot the three, play some D, and hold their own on the boards.

Flagg is superb at times, but concerned that it’s going to be 4 guys standing around watching him play. Kon can help but Proctor and Foster look about the same as last year. Too early to tell much but they need more from the other guys.

Piss poor basketball, losing to an overmatched UK team. Standing around, zero ball movement . $hit basketball for the final 20 minutes . Foster and Proctor were non-existent . Good news is that Duke probably won’t shoot that bad from 3 the rest of the season.

Even though they're up by 12 early in the second half,I'd like to see them capitalize on the threes if they're going to take them. Carolina is ice cold 🧊 from beyond the arc...It would be a route if not for that.

The positive is they're crashing the boards and hitting the free throws.

Good thing right after I posted this,it turned into a typical beatdown of a mid major.

Jeremy Roach will always be a favorite of mine, but man seeing that last night sucked a lot. I despise Baylor
I’m not a big Baylor fan myself. Whatever happened to the Baylor guy that was always on here?

Big game tonight at Arizona. I’ve always had a special disdain for the Wildcats. Never was a big Lute Olson fan. Hopefully Duke can get some payback for last years poor showing .

True road win against a top 20 team.

In unrelated news, Jai looks so less intimidating as a Duke assistant compared to my memories of him as a Gator and Longhorn
