That's surprising. I thought the stadium would be as empty as a barbera streisand striptease followed by mecha steisand singing. It's good to know a lot of people aren't fair-weathered fans.

106k... From Vols.com

:eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol: :eek:lol:
If there was 106k there, then I am Barabra Streisand!

Thats tickets sold, not turnstile count. Until about 20:00 before kickoff, I thought I was at a Mississippi State/Vandy game. More people filtered in, but still...there was way UNDER 100k there.

That's a shame. I wish I was not so far away.....until I relocated I had not missed a game in a long time....including those before the "glory days".........

Go Vols!

That stadium was empty 50 minutes before kickoff. Memphis probably had about 8,000 or so.

I was there and there was no 106,000 there may be 90,000 to many empty seats . EA will never be the Qb this guy has lost it he is bad and he will never be good enought to play in the SEC .We better hope and pray that Compton is a good Qb or we are in bad trouble next year .

Someone better be buying up all those available tickets out there. We'll call it the "Hire a Decent OC Fund"

Seriously it will take some money to bring in a good OC. Better start chipping in any way you can.

still where else in the country do 100,000 fans show up to see a 3-5 team, we do have at least some loyalty.

The true fans will always be there for our guys. This one guy that set behind us, I wished he would've stayed home. I know, I personally don't wanna hear someone behind me giving a play by play on what should've been done and smurk comments criticizing the team. He came across as being a vol fan when we are winning and against them when we have a loss. That's the kinda people that just need to stay home!

Eyesoforange, you just sat in front of "the guy" we always talk about. He thinks he's the smartest, funniest person in the stadium and says everything just slightly too loud in order to share his wisdom with those around him.

I don't have any problem with that guy (might have been me except I had to work) as along as he/she doesn't throw things or get drunk or vomit on me or my wife.

When you pay 45$ for a ticket and the product stinks you have a right to be critical. Besides there are better offensive coaches in the stand than on th UT sideline!!!

I bet you were one of the one's that was on his bandwagon last year, weren't you? I'll admit I've not been happy with him this year but.... The kid is having a bad year, heck the whole team is....Get off his back....He can't turn this year around by himself.....No one can at this point....The only thing he can do is what he is told to do.....Who knows? Ainge could come out next year and look just like he did last year, only better....I mean look at Brady Quinn from Notre Dame, the kid was horrible last year and this year they're talking Heisman for him....Granted he goes to ND and just about anyone from ND could win the Heisman just because of where they're from but he's played well this year.....Ainge may come out and do the same, you never know.....Then again Crompton may come out and be the man which he will IMO but who knows? If Ainge turns out to be the better man for the job next year then he's the starter....They're going to play whoever they feel like gives them the best chance to win

I wouldn't say Brady Quinn was horrible last year. Ainge has gone retarted, we've gotta get J-Cromp ready.
