Rand Paul. Please. Somebody that could give me a little hope for the executive branch.

it is too soon for another Bush, would give the Dems too much of a rally point

Rubio would make a lot of sense. Nikki Haley is also kind intriguing.

Nikki Haley would be good for his image because she is actually pretty likable, but the polling right now is about how I expect it to break in the election -- women voting for Obama by around 4-5 points. The gap with Hispanic voters is crazy though; something like 40+ points in favor of Obama.

Did I say gap? I meant canyon.

What was the Hispanic gap for Bush? McCain? The female gap for Romney while large is only about 2 points larger than it was for McCain and Bush.

VP will come from a swing state. Maybe Portman, likely Rubio. Too soon for Jeb

I don't know for mccain, but bush actually pulled something like 45% of the hispanic vote in 04. theyre saying romney will need to close that gap by at least ten points, new mexico and arizona may both be on the table

Rubio won't run as VP this time around. He wants to be the President. I fully expect him to run for President in '16 or '20.

Prudence tells me that if Rubio wants to be POTUS, he needs to be elected as VP against Obama. This is the only way in which Rubio dodges any objections to his eligibility as a "non-natural born Citizen."

I hope those birth certificate jackasses find something else to occupy their time.

Some people, and I won't name names, just won't let it go.

It's not enough that he can just be a crappy president. He has to be a subversive mooslum commie.

Follow-up to what I mentioned earlier: Somebody on Face The Nation earlier said the Latino gap between Obama and Romney is 47 points. Romney is either going to have to court Rubio for the VP nomination or make a severe shift in his rhetoric.
