At 1st I was upset with the changing back to the more traditional schedule but I'm excited now. I like Vandy being last. I'm excited about playing Oklahoma, win or lose. I like the bye week before opening with Georgia than Florida.

I think Worley will be the starter unless Dobbs really takes the next step in the offseason. His play against Georgia and SCjr gives hope with Lane, and Hurd running the ball and North and Pig being backed by the incoming freshman talent. I know the OL will take a big drop but look what a great OL got us this year with little support.

I'm worried about the defense... DL anyway. Could be another tough year but I'm still excited.

Does anyone think they can beat Ole Miss or hang with Overratedhoma? What about Florida and Georgia? Do they rebound or can UT take them out? Looks like another tough time to reach 6 wins.

I don't for see the big dropoff in line play everyone predicts. The OL should be nastier than this year's line. The DL may take a few lumps early on but if the hype is right I could see great things for them too. I like the schedule alot better. Orange glasses see 9-3 to 11-1 possibly.

our defense should get better, with another year in the system. the only true playmaker we lose are on D is AJ and even that's debatable. The other seniors were inconsistent at best. Our secondary should be MUCH better, esp with some quality depth and speed coming in. Plus the nest player on the D will be back (maggit)

We were really questioning our DL going into this year. Would love for one of the newbies to emerge as a playmaker at DT next year.

So? It doesn't mean it can't happen

I honestly think recruiting and the off-season are more anticipated than the actual season for a lot of Vol fans. The off-season is a time for hope, as is recruiting. The actual season is reality and it isn't too pretty.

The schedule will be easier than this year and our young guys will be more experienced. It is possible.

Probable Wins- Utah State, Ark. State, UT Chatt (for sure win), Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.

Swing Games- UGA, UF, Ole Miss, USC, Missouri

For Sure Loss- Bama, Oklahoma

So pretty much the only games I feel we are probably going to lose for sure is Bama and maybe Oklahoma.

I'm already looking forward to the possibility of meeting Volnation road game fans out here at the Oklahoma game. I will be there Lord willing.

Nope, Ferguson is going to be the starter at QB, because he's the best we've got. No one has seen him play in an actual college game, he has no college experience, and I am only basing this off of his highlight videos... which are just that: highlights.

/sarcasm

Edit: I'm sticking with 6 wins, so I'm not disappointed if we don't get more than 6. However, if we get less than 6, I'll be upset.

I agree that we beat Florida.

I said it elsewhere, but our first three games are going to be very pivotal games and will be a huge indicator for how our season is going to unfold.

The OL has been called overrated so much they are back to underrated lol they will be greatly missed. I'd like to know where you get that the backups now who will start will be nastier. Are you saying that because the OL didn't seem nasty at all and they will be more by default?

It will be interesting to see how much Lane steps up his game with Hurd coming in next season and who starts on the offensive and defensive lines next season.

As it's been, 3 easy wins and need to beat Vandy and UK plus an upset, which between Florida and Georgia taking a step back from where they were expected to be this year (where they were before and when UT played them) I don't see it being that difficult. Who knows about SCjr?
