Please explain to me...if Gruden wants 51 million for 8 years, that is 6.375 million a year, and wants to hire Raheem Morris for 1.5 million per year and hire Chad Morris for 1.5 million a year...that is 9.375 million just going to 3 coaches.

Now the "insiders" say big boosters have agreed to pay 9 million for next coaching staff...

EXPLAIN to me how the other coaches are to be paid OR are we just going to have 3 coaches...

Damn.....they make enough sales at 1 home game with $4 hot dogs and $4.50 drinks to pay the rest of the coaches....9 mil on ticket sales would be a walk in the park!!

Also, don't forget about the all mighty TV deal due to kick in in 2014(?).
Didn't I read that that would give each school in the SEC about 14 million extra.
Don't believe money will be a problem.

Well I wouldn't be that harsh. Is gruden coming? Probably not. But let's not act like it's completely out of the question or unfathomable that he would come here. He does have some ties to the university.

They have agreed to pay 9 million which is meant to help the university out with the salary the university will pay the difference.

What do some of you think about Jim Mora? He's got UCLA at 9-2, winners of their division and a decent smack down on file against the Trojans. He also has plenty of HC experience.

I am not advocating per se but it does have some intrigue.

Why would he not? I bet you want him in Arkansas huh?

I realize this may come as a shock to a savvy poster like yourself, but thee are in fact Vol fans who live outside the state of Tennessee........I couldn't care less who Arky hires.

102,455 @ $40 = $4,098,200

That's one game in just ticket sales. Their wouldn't be a shortage of money

How much do you think it costs UT to actually put on a home game for 102,000 people? The "profit money" is probably not anywhere close as much as you think it is. Add to that most of our OOC home games of late have been us cutting the other team a 500,000.00-800,000.00 check. No doubt UT makes money. I just can't see UT spending 9+ million a year for coaches. They have never shown they would pay top SEC HC type money. We'll see.
