I see it as a way hijack the program til they get their way. A year of fulmer of interim coach would be equivalent Smith at Arkansas this past year. What recruit wants to sign with a school who can't even get a head coach.

I know ive said this before, but it is the truth. The more time that goes by the better our chances landing Gruden become. Not going to get into details, but this is the case.

I am not opposed to CPF as AD. He is at least UT blood, has a winning history and most importantly a FULL knowledge of the inner workings of the entire university not just the athletic dept.

Also, he has built up lots of very good connections. Regardless of why he was terminated, either burn out, or recruitment, or (fill in your reason here).. He is still a good AD candidate in my mind.
