Would go against what hart said up front hiring no one with baggage which also includes Davis..They would have to get permission from NCAA..never happen in my opinion but a guy a few pages back said he was listening to ESPN radio on xm radio ch 84 that said Tennessee was going to drop a bomb in an hour..I just said that the only bombs would be Tressel or Gruden

His Agent said it was a fantasy (that a deal had been made if I am not mistaken). Could of been contracts problems etc. If he accepted a contract from UT or even showed legitimate interest Tampa might have grounds to cancel his final payments.

Just a theory.

Fortunately, I'm on the record (see my post history) as sticking with the Gruden through this whole mess. Our football savior cometh soon!

All part of negotiating the fine details IMO. Look at it as publically pushing for what you want.

Just wanted to post that I'm still here and have never given up hope. Not a bandwagon Grude thread follower.

Yes, and it will be the second time in three years where we were shopping a Top-10 coaching job and drew flies. Somebody better take notice if that happens.

I agree...I'm just asking if anyone else heard it. I'm definitely not trying to drop a bomb cause I gots nothing.

Im still in for Gruden but reading others post and working this puzzle , if not Gruden I feel It will be better and a big deal and (none of these names we are hearing) JMO.

Ok thanx.Thought I read somewhere he received his final payment in 11.Man it's hard to get concrete info.Think I will hire a PI!I hope we get Gruden!Would be epic to hear Hyams,Hubbs&Rucker explain their idiotic journalism!
