This guy took a beating tonight. He was left high and dry in a lot of situations but still stuck it out. He took some tough shots on plays that had no chance but didn't shy away from his opportunity to try and make a play. I really think this guy has a bright future as a Volunteer.

Couldn't watch tonite , but listening I could tell he took a beating, I appreciate his hard work and efforts.
He just needs the ball in open field, he's gone if he can break loose! But needs to work on catching.

Absolutely man... He had that one drop on his first attempt I think, but after that he was all business. I'm not sure I've ever seen one player at the receiving end of so many killer, hung-out-to-dry hits in one game. He's tough as a pig's nose. (pun 100% intended)

I agree... he got his bell rang several times and never gave in to it... He will be a real baller in time

Dear Howard Alton,
Er....sorry, that's who the idiot Vandy shills on ESPN2 thought you were. Allow me to begin again.

Dear Mr. Howard,
Your effort last night represented everything that is right about this team. Our future is bright thanks to players like you.

VFL,
AV

The right coach will make him a good tailback - I kind of think he is a little small for a WR - I can see him being a Darren Sproles type RB -- good tough kid, hope he stays at UT

They kept running him too close to the line. I wish they'd use him more like Alabama used the deuce back in the 90's. You've got to have some room for the elusive guys to operate.

Name change Pig=MAN OF STEEL. Looked like Superman out there. Bounced up after every hit like it was a walk in the park.

Seemed like every time there was a big hit Pig was on the receiving end of it. I kept thinking he will not get up from that one but he kept bouncing right back up.

Seems like every time Pig gets the ball he gets rocked. Vandy game was the worst, but I have noticed this in multiple games.
