I'm stuck at the office until shortly after tip-off and want to get a little discussion going to get me thru the next hour or so...
I think this is a exceptionally scary game (since with this team every game is a little scary) for us with UGA coming in with the whole revenge factor for how we beat them in Athens. I expect them to come out hot and I feel that if we don't match their intensity and at least keep it close we could get in too deep of a whole to dig out of. I think we will struggle early but stay close, take the lead early in 2nd half and pull away late. But really any result would not surprise me with this team...
I am expecting solid games from Hopson and Williams but I think the player that could make the difference for us today is Cam Tatum. He has shown flashes that he can be a major contributor all season but has never seemed to put it all together, imo. I think, or at least hope, that missing those FTs at end of Florida game got him focused enough to take his play to the next level. From what I have heard he has been putting in some extra time at the gym, but time will tell.
What are yall's thoughts on the game and/or who do you expect to show up big today?
