We were 3 points away from beating the 6th ranked team in the country and the stadium was electric on our biggest recruiting weekend. And you think it's not gonna get better?

It's a process as CBJ has said. Today was a big step forward in that process. Recruits should come away from today's game feeling like CBJ & staff are headed in the right direction. Really proud of team 117 and their fight today.

It's always hard to take a loss at the last minute, but I am so proud of the way we played. Hell of a game. Proud to be a Vol.

Needed a some plays on that last drive.

But yeah, the huge win in this game was a rocking stadium for big time recruits to experience and those gray uniforms. Those looked sharp.

We were winning with 2 minutes left

I think that's why I'm having issues with losing

Yeah...we need to forget about the play by Pig. This one was a stop away from a great win, did not happen. They should grow from this one and may actually get more 2 wins (KY, Vandy) if they continue this 4 qtr effort. And will give SCe something to think about.

How much do you want to bet that Josh Malone came away favorably impressed with progress that Tennessee's passing game exhibited today?

As much as I want to believe that, you could have said identical things under Year 1 of Kiffin and Dooley.

Awesome game just wrong result. Glad I am a bit older now because I remember not handling losses like this very well in my 20s. Proud of UT today.

Just think! Last year the team would have stayed down after half time. This team did come out swinging and I LIKE IT!!!

Yup.... Under Dooley this team (with better talent, I might add) would have rolled over and showed their soft underbelly to GA and begged not to be savaged too badly.

This team said "That all you got? Come get some!"

This team fought their asses off! Yes, it's heartbreaking, but if anyone can't see that CBJ has UT headed back, you are as blind as a bat.

Yes, Pig fumbled. Pig kicked ass all game and was giving every ounce of effort on that last offensive play. Keep your head up young man. Big things are coming.

Proud of Worley too. With all the crap he has gone through, he stepped up in the second half and managed the O for the comeback.

Yes it's a 'L', but I'm more excited about the future of UT football than I have been in a long time.

GBO!!!

If you remember, we were a bad penalty away from beating #12 LSU during Dooley's first year.

Did things get better?

A competitive game against Georgia should have no basis in providing an outlook for the future of the program.

No....not identical....confidence makes all the difference...this team is working their way out of losing versus the other two living and sinking into it.
