Zero mention of the Ladies today here at the Nation.
Should we worry about getting a 1seed, or is it a foregone conclusion after the tourney championship?

Keep your eyes out for the LadyMocs as well tonight(hey they're in the UT system).
Could draw a 10seed, which would be their highest ever.

I don't think they get a 1 seed. They should but stumbled a couple times this year. If they do then PS did some serious lobbying. Don't really see too much difference in a 1 vs 2 in the womens tourney.

Lobbying? I don't think so. Tennessee is #1 in strength of schedule and #2 in RPI. Plus we have won over more top 25 teams this year than anyone else...and don't forget about the SECT win of LSU. I think they will be a 1. :thumbsup:

The Lady Vols are still likely to get their 1 seed... North Carolina, Duke, LSU, and Tennessee seem to be head an shoulders above the rest.

I would say that Ohio State and Maryland have an outside shot at a 1...

Well, we beat Maryland, we beat LSU, possible #1 seeds .We won the SEC conference.I dare say we have a good shot especially if we get a seed akin to the men.I think Ohio State barely beat MSU recently and we beat them pretty easy.

I didn't mean there aren't OTHER good teams out there, it is just IMO those 4 teams, then about 5-6 others...

Lady Vols got ripped off IMO......Ohio State won 19 straight at the end of the season, but they didn't play anywhere close to the schedule that Tennessee did.

Now we're in UNC's bracket. It's a really tough bracket.

Happy about a 2 seed one day, pissed off about it the next. Crazy..

Did you see the other teams in their bracket?? If we get through that bracket, we'll be National Champs for sure...

They win that, they deserve it. Same with NC. If they make it all the way, props!

Vandy has a good chance of pulling off the upset of North Carolina at Vandy, (SECOND ROUND).

How, with our record, our #1 strength of schedule, and our #2 RPI, did we get a two seed? Not to mention, we just won the SEC Tournament. Someone please explain this to me.

I think it is stupid that we didn't get the 1... but we got the 2, and I'll say what I've told the whiners from other schools complaining about the men's draw... everyone in the field has to do the same thing... win. Do that, and you'll be the Champ. Simple.
