-TrieuGahanna (Ohio) Lincoln defensive lineman Kamari Burns visited Tennessee recently. The Vols have offered and are one of the top schools in his recruitment.
"My Tennessee visit was extravagant," he said. "Everybody was great and helped me out a lot. What stood out to me was just how nice everything was and how amazing the program was. Everything from the culture to the people were absolutely great."
Burns still has some unfinished business before being ready to make a choice or narrow down his list, but it is clear the Vols are one of the real contenders.
They are owning Kentucky up here this cycle. That’s 6 kids they’ve beaten them for so far. The only UK commit from Ohio is Lemaster who tried to commit to Cincy and they passed on.
Kensucky recruiting as a whole is down. A number of kids who Kensucky has pursued have picked Cincy, WVU, MSU and soon to be Tennessee when Conyer announces. In each instance, Kensucky fans claim they weren’t commitable
offers.
Whining on social media is all Marrow does. I can’t figure out how he’s allegedly “such a good recruiter.”I’ve heard their staff pissed off a bunch of high school coaches up this way when they took to social media taking shots at Cameron Calhoun when he committed to West Virginia over them. Those guys are classless toolbags. I still can’t believe that OT from Evansville, IN signed with them last year after Marrow basically called the kid an idiot on social media when it looked like he was going to flip to Michigan State.
