Going to be a real interesting year for the buckeyes. Ranked higher than they should be, imo. Obviously a monster recruiting class last year and coming in this year. But they lost a lot.

Young OL talent is there, and I think at least one freshman will start, but we know what bad depth in the trenches can do.

Might be a year where they are trying to play spoiler rather than favorite while waiting on the reload.

With their schedule, they can afford it. They really only have 2 notable games, OU and UM. MSU is a huge question mark now and may be headed for a downward slide. I think OSU still wins 10-11 games and will beat either OU or UM.

Msu is still a very tough opponent... Jmo. But you are right, even with games at Wisconsin and at Penn state, a softer schedule let's them rebuild the ship as they go a little bit.
