If there is one thing that I admire about Ohio State its that they are F'n awesome at cheating. This will just go away as well.

After re-reading, all that is said is "according to a source."

I "believe" this will definitely turn into something more.
Dan Wetzel (publisher of the Tressel scandal) is an award-winning sportswriter, author and screenwriter. He has covered all levels of basketball as well as college football, the NFL, MLB and NHL. He is the co-author of the new book "Death to the BCS: The Definitive Case Against the Bowl Championship Series." It's not like the person who published this is just some nobody. Yahoo Sports is the "Grim Reaper of college sports" as Wes Rucker has said. Just wait, I think this could turn into something really big. About time the dark cloud starts shifting north to Ohio.

We F'n suck at it!!! Our bball program is getting hammered because of a lie about a bbq sammich! We could have at least landed the recruit.

Exactly. All our teams got the hammer at once and they all still suck.

OSU said Yahoo only gave them 30 minutes to respond before they posted.
Yahoo then says they gave them 3 hours.

Good Lord.

Summary: Jim Tressel lied ---> Bruce Pearl situation

No,No,No,No, totally different. He knew something illegal was going down and didn't tell anybody about it that is not cheating or lying. Even during his press conference he eluded he knew nothing “I’m trying to let the holidays temper me down so I’ll be more jolly on the 26th,” again, not lying. Only BP lies; no NCAA coach but BP has ever not told the truth come on man get it right... Calhoun didn’t lie either.."if you believe it it's not a lie.":whistling:

Maybe, but I know of stuff are football program has gotten away with, and it seems like hostessgate won't amount to much, either.

It would be uglier for football if the perps were still employed at UT.

As far as the original topic, I like Tressel and the Buckeyes, so I hope this isn't true.

Well maybe we aren't good at cheating, but we're just lucky? Either way, I'll take it.

Serious question. How many major violations has Tennessee been hit with over the years?

I do know that we got away with paying Travis Henry $6000. That's pretty good I guess.

I don't really know, but it's a small number.

Didn't we give Tee Martin some money. I could be wrong, but it seems like we would have been willing to buy Albert Means as well.
