Just saw on ESPN bottom line ticker that OSU is scheduled to meet with the NCAA COI on Friday. I missed the whole blurb, but it did also say something about other accusations and penalties that may occur. Don't know other details. TIFWIW.

NCAA will apologize for any embarrassment that they may have caused, and to make it up will allow OSU a 100 scholarship roster, no dead periods, allowances for every player, and will demand OSU vacate every loss during the Tressel era. Plus, the NCAA will place themselves on probation for insinuating that OSU could possibly have commited any violation.

Does the fact that the meeting isn't being rescheduled mean that not much is coming out of the second letter of investigation?

This is the most likely scenario imo.

After the meeting is over with the Suckeyes will take all of the NCAA directors back to Columbus for free cars and tattoos. In addition they all get free Terrell Pryor signed jerseys and helmets for their troubles.

Well, I'll hold out hope for a bowl ban of three years or more and the loss of scholarships, but the NCAA will probably be lenient yet again.

Then again, I said that last year about USC.
