They are getting stomped by Wisconsin. They are not going to be in a good mood this weekend. Although it does make me think of Texas when we played them last year.

If Oden doesn't eat us alive, we have a shot. You can't really count the Vols out of any game. Beating them will probably take another 35 point game from Lofton though.

OSU came back and had a shot to tie but missed at the buzzer. The Vols got some pub as they mentioned that upcoming game for OSU several times. I never thought I would see the day that I would hear the likes of "Bruce Pearl and Tennessee could give Ohio State some problems".

We have to bring it Saturday. If we don't, it will result in the worst thrashing of the Pearl era.

What has been the worst thrashing of the Bruce Pearl Era thus far? Oklahoma State, Alabama, LSU last year? UNC this year?

I'd say Alabama last year or Carolina this year. We were never in either of those games.

This year's game against Butler was probably a bigger thrashing than Carolina. UT has better athletes, but Butler played better as a team that night, and I think the Vols learned a lot from the loss.

Our freshmen looked like deers in headlights in NY, and the new team had not yet learned how to play around Lofton. If we played Butler again, we would cream them, IMO.

I wanted to mention that one, but since the Vols had a double-friggin-digit lead at one point, I think it goes more into the category of 'bad loss' rather than 'complete thrashing'.

If we hold them to 69 points like Wisconson did, we'll have a great shot at winning.
