I think we can take them.

I will give Arkansas credit they played great...but I think Auburn may have been looking ahead. They did not play like a #2 team. Maybe not even a Top 25.

Yea when the season started I thought Georgia and Alabama would be are harder games now it looks like Ark and SC maybe the harder ones and definately LSU

It seems every time UT adds a new team from the west on the schedule the program gets resurrected. First it was Auburn now its Arkansas.

I assume when Miss State gets back on the schedule the program will start to turnaround and they will go into the game ranked and leading the West.

as posted elsewhere, scaro (yes dammit w spurrier) and ark always worried me. i see lsu coming to neyland and the spirit of the general coming to the forefront. the vols almost always play better than expected against good teams and up to the level of the mid level competition, remember 98 and the ark fumble!? tonights game, as wellas the cal. game. were the two i felt preseason would be benchmark games for the vols. but i am always as nervous as a prostitute in church come game day (really by weds.) whenever the vols play. go vols beat the dawgs, go lsu FTgators!!

Arkansas absolutly ran the ball down Auburn's throat! That is scary considering UT's depth at DT. Arkansas looks to be a very physical football team. I guess the best chance to beat them is to try to build a lead first and make them pass the ball?

Arkansas was running the ball however and wherever they wanted to. I think this gives credence to the SEC haters. I mean do you think any other top 5 team would get completly manhandled by this Ark team?

What is with the SEC anyway? It amazes me how teams that play so well against one team can get blown away by a "worse" team. It's obvious Aub was overrated, and I think we will find out tonight GA is totally overrated as well.

I still stand by my statement earlier on in the season, Auburn isn't as great as everyone has made them out to be.

I am not surprised. They looked overated when I saw them against SC. They had to make a trick play to win that game.:eek:hmy:

that and AU is supposedly defensive sluggers with a powerhouse squad at tailback....if we get to the Arkansas game undefeated, i am certain that we shall prevail..I think auburn just choked on the hot dog today, im upset LSU cant come back to get us back on top in the East Title hunt, im very unimpressed with the West

I heard old Tommy Tubb this week on the radio already complaning about possibly being left out of a National Champ hunt. It sounded like he was thinking it was just a given for his Tigers to be there. I guess this will free some time up for him to worry about other things. Like the huge gaps in his DL.
