you can't throw an empty over the fence. the guy next to me tried. then he threw a full one and made it.

i wish i had a picture of this guy too. he looked like he stepped directly out of Deliverance.

nobody is getting hurt, YET. what happens when some drunk moron throws a full can of beer and hits a kid in the back of the head and the kid is injured for life or doesn't get up? should we just "get over that" too? I don't think so. Nobody should just get over it, especially when you put people in risk by being a pathetic moron.

i heard a caller say during a SIRIUS show yesterday his grandson had to get 48 stiches in the back of his head.

edit: sorry, bad joke.

seriously, sarcasm aside, this is exactly what people have been talking about, more specifically backing up what kkep just said.

no, those aren't fans who throw crap on the track, those are whiny drunk morons who express their crying because their fav. driver didn't win by throwing crap on the track. those people aren't fans.

do u try and disagree with everything i say or does it just happen??

ppl throwin crap on the track displays the passion that fans have for NASCAR.....its been going on for years, and it will continue until penalties are stiff enough to make them stop....yes being drunk probably plays a part, but being drunk is part of attending a race!!

no, i don't try to disagree with everything you say, i just do. i just disagree with the statement that throwing stuff on the track is a display of passion for the sport. throwing stuff on the track because your favorite didn't win is a display of pathetic incompetency and whining. and no, it hasn't been going on for years, people just started throwing stuff on the track in the past few years, mainly at Charlotte and Talladega, and now it happens everywhere he wins. Being drunk may be a part of attending a race, but throwing stuff because your favorite didn't win is not a part of it.

Let's be honest, who wouldn't have liked to throw a full can of beer at Joakim Noah in San Antonio during his victory "speech"?

Disclaimer: I use the term "speech" loosely when referring to whatever it was coming out of his mouth.
