Austin Box, linebacker for Oklahoma Sooners, dies - ESPN

Oklahoma linebacker Austin Box has died, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner's office in Oklahoma City said Thursday.

Box was being transported to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

Oklahoma City television station KFOR reported that Box was found unresponsive in El Reno, an Oklahoma City suburb, and was transported to a hospital in Oklahoma City, where he died.

Wish we would stop seeing stories about athletes dying.

Supposedly, and I'm no expert on this, they have reformulated oxycodone so that it can't be crushed then sniffed. Addicts now have to take crap ton more to get high. Many addicts must take a lot just to feel normal. Also, I've heard that alcohol and oxycodone are a lethal mixture.

This stuff is an epidemic.
