OL on joe moore award list

Our backs had over 6 yards per carry Saturday
As a team it was 4.8. Multiple drives got killed due to bad blocking, False starts, illegal man downfield. A 53 yd run saved them from averaging 4ypc. So 1 good play then a lot of average, mostly because of blocking. Definitely not a lack of effort on Sampson's part

Rarely am I this negative, but OL play must be severely down across the board if this group is in the Joe Moore conversation.

Edit: But the future is still unwritten. They could grow into a good offensive line in time.

  • The average time to pressure allowed by Tennessee this season is 2.7 seconds, 13th best in the nation.
  • Led by Preseason AP Second Team All-American Cooper Mays, who has allowed just one pressure on the year.

Their narrative is the only thing that matters. If we averaged 6 yds without a long one they would be bitching about not breaking one. We are at the top for stupid fans.

100% and the search for the narrative after a loss is always hilarious. Like the poster who is preemptively blaming the hurricane in Florida for making them extra motivated in case we lose. The insane theories we will hear post loss are always amazing
