Well, here we are at the 2/3rds mark of the season. So far I'm somewhat satisfied with the season. I actually liked the Kentucky game the best. Kentucky played well but we beat them with a balanced attack. The only game that disgusted me was the Alabama game. You know and I know we should have beat them. If we hadn't have settled for field goals we could have been up 34-7. The Florida game, Oh well it's Florida . Bout like Kentucky when they played us. Low to moderate chance of beating UGA. They deserve to be the best and we would have to play a near perfect game with Joe's continued maturation. Can't look past Missouri.

Last night while giving out candy to 3 little Halloween princesses one of them asked what I was dressed up as. I said “an old man” and that brought a laugh. Depressing to think they thought I was wearing a costume when I was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt to keep warm. Must have been the gray hair and wrinkled neck.

When compared to most years since 2001, I've got no complaints on this season. The florida loss stings but if we can finish with 10 wins (including a bowl win), I'd be more than satisfied as a whole. The trajectory of this program is unmistakenly positive and its been a long time coming. Consider me a huge Danny White and Josh Heupel fan.

This has been an excellent coaching job. I am frustrated because I loved last year's offense and hoped Milton could at least match the statistical output, but it's a wildly different team. I wanted to see deep connections and points galore, but this is a developing "beat your ass team." If he tried to do what I hoped they would do, this team would be 4-4 if not worse.

What I like about the Kentucky game is I think Joe Milton finally sees that it going take more than a single cannon to win a war. You have to constantly move forward and attack. He's realizing the value of another weapon he has and created a 4 headed monster in our run game.

I honestly expected 8-4 at best at the beginning of the season and had no faith whatsoever in Milton. I have to give both he and CJH credit, he has shown slow but steady improvement and is currently playing his best football. If CJH can get this much out of Milton, after what we saw him do with Hooker I can't help but believe that the sky is the limit for Nico if we can block for him and get him some WR's that can get separation. We also need some addition via subtraction (i'm lookin' at you, willie martinez). It is such a relief to have a real football coach at the helm. After Dooley, champions of life and cornbread I thought I might have to hang up my big orange cleats. I could never do it but I also could not have taken another stupid hire like Greg Schiano. We dodged some bullets and are moving in the right direction.

I don't think that you are supposed to use Schiano and Suckeye and Juice in the same sentence.... just saying
