Old timers (like me): what emojis do you need that aren't offered on your phone?

I'm surprised by how often I need an anvil emoji. How do kids communicate without an anvil emoji??? It's widely applicable as a metaphor, and often called for literally in online conversations with dolts. (That was in no way a shot at madtownvol!)

So I thought it might be interesting to hear what others, of any age (DEI: ☑️) have wanted to express visually in a text (or online post) for which no emoji was available.

Whatever happened to our Baby Boomer cachet in the marketplace, that someone was always there to manufacture whatever we wanted, before we knew we wanted it?

Oh. Yeah. We're all now living off a fixed income, living in a fixed fashion bubble, or no longer living.

...and there's the often needed, one-click emoji response to a dozen frequently asked questions, like...

Where are you?
Whatcha doing?
Whatcha been doing?
Where ya been all day?
Are you napping?
Are you reading?
Are you watching TV?
What did you get done today?
Whatcha been thinking about?
What's a good exercise to do during summer heat?
What would you do for [any of a list of ailments, problems, or spouse moods]?
Do ya feel like taking a walk this evening when it cools down?

Why isn't there a recliner emoji?

There’s a parachutist emoji 🪂

But, there aren’t any freefall emojis or wingsuiting emojis.

And the parachutist’s canopy should be orange and white.

Honestly, I don't use these emoji things all that much. To me, it's something youngsters do. Kind of like wearing a team/player jersey. At a certain age, it just isn't appropriate. GIFs, however, are different animal altogether. Having said all that...

So, you want a “get off my lawn” emoji. 😁

I need 2 more:
-- shaking my head in disgust
-- a hugging one that is not grinning stupidly, but is showing sympathy for friend's trouble.
