Older movies that might actually happen

Most movies are based on nothing but fiction. And some of them actually have a possibility of happening in reality. Or close to it. Take "The Running Man" for example. I think one day this will actually happen given society's current trend. "Mad Max" too if things keep going like they are. "Logan's Run" (or "The Island" which is a clone of it) has a possibility as well, albeit remote.
