Yep. Not sure that @VolPack22 isn’t one of @mad4vols pet posters. Anybody else get a candy striper with their trophy? Didn’t think so….

I can attest to that. I have two of those precious trophies, but no babe.

I played some games at Engel Stadium while I was in high school so I had an advantage on this one

I know that. Thank you. But as a football first fan (for lack of a better term), I make an effort to assume Roman ways in Rome. I come here to learn about and celebrate baseball and to cheer for the baseVols! And mock our rivals, of course.

Also I did get away with that Cretan statue of the woman with the snakes one time, if you recall. I really didn't intend to bend the rules.

If the Braves win tonight they will be on pace to win 110 games. The franchise record is 106 games in 1998

This will probably be the first season since 2018 that the Dodgers will not eclipse 106 wins, excluding the shortened Covid season. They would have to go 55-18 in the 2nd half to get there. They are currently on pace to win 94 games if they win tonight…

For the record, the Dodgers tied for the 4th most victories all-time last season and didn’t even make it to the NLCS. Next time someone complains our BaseVols make sure to bring that up.

95-win seasons are nothing to feel bad about. Just goes to show how historically great they have been over the past several seasons that they are on pace to win 17 less games than last year and it’s still a great season.

Orioles take that Division this year and I know Braves are the best rite now,but the Orioles played them tough in a 3 game series in Atlanta earlier this year. Probably the toughest all season. Won 9-4 lost 5-4 and 3-2 in extra innings....
