Ole Miss and Andy Kennedy

I am definitely a fan of Andy Kennedy, with a coach like that, Ole Miss should be able to challenge for that division year after year.

Hat, after watching this team are you backing down from saying they aren't experience enough to make the tournament. I know they've played garbage, but who out of the West would you take over them. Arkansas is probably the best, but John Pelphrey has been a disapointment in every one of their tests thus far. MSU has been about as unimpressive as a team can get. So I still think that Ole Miss will get in this year.

If they sweep their games in Puerto Rico, it's hard to see them missing the tournament. Arkansas looked awful against a putrid OU team the other night. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Ole Miss and Alabama end up at the top of the West. I'll have a better idea on Ole Miss after I see them from press row against Southern Miss in Southaven.

I know you're coming to the Memphis area next week to get two games for the price of one. Too bad you won't be around this weekend as the Tigers are playing Georgetown at the Fedex Forum.

Hat, what is your profession if you don't mind me asking? It seems as though you are always at basketball games, no matter where they are.

The Rebels gutted out a 69-63 win over DePaul. Barring a huge upset loss to LaSalle tomorrow, they'll go into their showdown with Clemson Saturday undefeated.

That game Saturday has the potential to be one of the better games in a loaded weekend.

Rebels survive a second half scare to win. 10-0 v. 10-0 tomorrow.

If Rebs win they will hop into the top 25. I think I may be going to Memphis/Gtown tomorrow, then watching UT/Xavier, then maybe listening to this Ole Miss game.

Good day.

I can't say enough good things about Andy Kennedy. He will take over the West for awhile or until he leaves.

If you're in Knoxville and are considering going to the Memphis/ Georgetown game you better get your ass in gear. As you well know that game tips at 11:00 Central.

I'm in Memphis for the holidays. Drove back the night of the WKU game. Made a stop in Nashville to go to the game with 2 friends, then headed on home.

Age might restrict such things. Not to mention I just got off probation for underage consumption.
Well then, strike that last suggestion. We could still get together for a soda and some Big Orange discussions. :dance2:
