Memphis had a converted kicker playing QB, broke his ankle on the first drive. Tough luck for Tiger High, looks like they will be sorely lacking a pass game this season. They can't stop the Ole Miss pass attack, either.

Not much action from DeAngelo Williams yet.

Pretty good game so far with 13:06 left in the 4th.I think Ole Miss will pull away but wadda I know? :banghead:

Pretty good game that went right down to the wire. Memphis had their chances but could not convert--turnovers killed them.

ESPN touted Williams as the best player in the state of Tenneessee after the game.

He might be.

Did they forget about Jason Allen?
They must have because if there's a better player in the nation, I haven't seen him.

He didnt set any fires in this one. But if Ed's kids can pin him down, 24 carries for 85yrds He's in a world of crap against a Tn kid from redbank.
