Pretty ballsy of Nutt.

OM is also paying Boise State $900,000 to come to Oxford.

eff. this is the kind of game i hate seeing on boise's schedule. it's a completely winnable game for boise, but it's an ooc, bcs conference, sec game that will give them ammo when they claim they should be in the title game. i'd rather them have to play GOOD bcs conference teams that will beat them (like va tech next season) or else not be able to schedule any bcs conference opponents so they don't really have any claim.

that's my problem with BSU. They want to be a BCS type program but they still want you to pay them to come to your stadium. Then if you play them, you have to go to their mid major 45k high school stadium. Its not worth it.

their only road BCS team victory was a against a team literally playing with their 4th string qb and even that game was very close.

Boise St threw the challenge out there last season that they will play anybody, Anywhere, anytime....They said they would happily go on the road if need be....Got to give those guys a lot of credit they aren't backing off from nobody...They beat Oregon twice in the past couple of years.

As long as you PAY them, they'll come to your house.

Appy St said the same thing.

Where will this game be played? Boise is fairly high in altitude. Wyoming being the highest altitude D1 school has it's advantages against sea level teams. Ole miss came here to play us a few years ago and could not catch their breath after pre game warmups .

We love OOC sea level teams coming here :) How's you red blood cell count?

And that's total BS.

A few years back Boise State ducked out of UGA's return trip to the blue turf for fear of snapping their home winning streak. UGA lit them up in Athens and was supposed to head out west the following year.

Boise did throw out that offer in January, I think. BSU has offered to "play anybody, anytime, anywhere" on a one-away game deal. And, they did beat Oregon in 08 and 09. Not sure what the BS is in reference to.

Given how far in advance schedules for the super powers are set, that silliness is perfect for Boise. The top tier doesn't have an opening to schedule them. Thus, they can act as if people are ducking them. They actually want no part of the best of the best.

I know. They may be angling for a better bowl bid later on hoping someone confuses words for action.

I really like this idea, hopefully Boise can prove that they can play with the best teams consistently.

Yeah, beating Ole Miss will show how awesome they are. Just look at all the SEC titles the Rebs have won the last 40 years.
